The temperature hit 110 degrees today in Las Vegas and I had a handful of errands I had to run today… Can you guess what I ended up reaching for to wear?
You guessed it. A summer dress.
In this heat there’s just about nothing I can wear that makes me comfortable except for a dress. Shorts leave too much skin exposed to heat, biker shorts and tight clothing get’s sweaty instantly, but dresses are the perfect clothing item. They’re airy, don’t show a ton of sweat, and super easy to just throw on and instantly look put together.
However, it can be really tough finding dresses that fit well for us tall girls. You want to make sure the dress length is right, aka not too short for a maxi, hit’s right below the knee for a midi and a mini dress isn’t too short, sometimes the switch between top and bottom is too high to wear it cuts off your proportions, etc.
But with this heat, you bet I’m a pro at finding the best dresses for tall girls and tall women! For reference I am 6’2 but the 10 dresses I link below can work from any woman in the range of 5’10 to 6’4.
