The 23 Best Summer Shorts for Tall Women

Ah, summertime… that fantastic time when you clean your closet out from jeans, pants, and leggings to shorts and skirts! Or… is it fantastic?

I’m not going to lie, I’ve always had a love/hate relationship when it comes to shorts. I’ve always had larger thighs for my body type and I also have pretty narrow hips, so I’ve accepted the fact I’ll never have a thigh gap! Not even that, but being 6’2 since I was 13 years old, I remember vividly getting dress-coded in middle school for wearing bermuda shorts… yes bermuda shorts because they STILL weren’t longer than my middle fingertips.

I’ve been incredibly thankful over the years to have a great community of tall women to share shopping tips and stores with to find the best clothes, and our selection of available clothes for tall women has increased incredibly. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t still difficult at times to find clothing items that fit your style and body type.

But that’s probably why you’re here right? That’s essentially why I started Excluded Fashion and now I’m so grateful to get to share all my incredible finds with you all to hopefully make the shopping experience a little bit easier.

So that being said, I’ve been investing in more shorts for this summer as I live in Las Vegas and it’s already 100+ degrees, so it’s almost unavoidable at this point! But between working with our editors and seeing their favorite places to shop, I’ve put together this tall friendly summer shorts shopping guide for all my fellow long-legged ladies out there.

Keep reading to see the 23 best summer shorts for tall girls (friendly for girls 5’9 and above!)
