As a woman whose shoe obsession has spanned over the last 29 years, one of my all-time favorite articles of clothing to shop for is footwear. Beautiful to the touch and exhilarating to the nose, there’s nothing quite like a new pair of shoes as we enter into a new season. 

Whether it’s a particular style of shoe, a popular color, or perhaps a luxe suede… I’ve rounded up the “it” shoes to add to your wardrobe this fall.

Loafers

While loafers have been around for years, we’re seeing a surge of the iconic footwear now that the 90’s style has circled back around.

Chocolate Brown

One of the most “it” colors of the season, chocolate brown is elite for fall. Whether it’s an ankle boot or your favorite sneaker, brown is the new black. 

Suede

Often a risky choice for wet weather, suede is all the rage now that fall is upon us. Suede bags, suede belts, suede jackets… and suede shoes are no exception. The specific leather offers a softness and chicness that’s perfect for the “ber” months.

KITTEN HEELS

The higher the heel the closer to heaven? Perhaps not. I’ve been seeing kitten heels (1-2”) more-so now than ever! Way more practical and often more comfortable, women are ditching the high heels and opting for a lower, modest heel.

Burgundy

While shades of red typically resurface this time every year, burgundy is competing for chocolate brown’s attention this fall. Black will always be timeless, but having a pop of color on your feet is a surefire way to elevate any outfit.
