Comfy, Fashionable Outfits to Wear to Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Picture this: It’s Thanksgiving Day and you’ve just finished your second plate and dessert. You’re wearing jeans and it has reached time of day where you’re ready to undo that top button. We’ve all been there, so this year, why not avoid it and go straight to dressing comfortably?

For some of us, Thanksgiving is a holiday to dress up nicely and put your best foot forward to celebrate with family and friends. For others, staying home with your dog may be your Thanksgiving tradition. Regardless, for both occasions we’ve found stylish ways to dress comfortably that’s not just wearing your everyday sweats.

Matching Sets

The easiest way to look put together is to purchase a matching set. Matching sets and monochromatic outfits look effortlessly cool, and the best part is it’s a whole outfit in one. Just accessorize and head out the door!

Cozy Sweaters

When you want to stay warm, but still have that oversized look, swap out a sweatshirt for a chunky sweater or turtleneck.

Pants

The number one goal for choosing an outfit on Thanksgiving is to avoid any pants with a button or zipper! Since we are going for an elevated Thanksgiving look, we’ve found a few stunning pants that are flexible, but aren’t just regular sweatpants or joggers. Pair any of these with one of the sweaters from above and you have yourself an outfit.

Knit Skirts

Skirts are so under rated! I know for the girls like me who live in colder climate states during Fall/Winter, we think of skirts as only to be worn during the Summer. Recently, we’ve been seeing a lot more skirts outfits for Fall, especially longer knit skirts. Pair a skirt with tall boots underneath for a bolder look.
