I've Worked From Home Before It Was Mainstream. Here Are My Go To Pieces To Look Good On Zoom Calls.
If you’re like me, you can’t think about going to an office ever again. Although I know most of us ladies had to head back to the office, a lot of us are still working from home or in a hybrid work environment.
After almost 4 years of working from home on my end, I’ve been through ups and downs of trying to adjust, but one thing that has to be a constant in my wfh (work from home) routine, is getting dressed. If I stay all day in sweats, I just feel… blah. So I wanted to share with you my go-to pieces to look good on zoom calls, AND feel comfortable while doing it.
Dresses
A surprising but also quite obvious choice! I’ve never been a big dress girly but this summer changed me. I’ve invested in so many cute dresses that can go from chill to zoom or even from zoom to happy hour, and they’re actually the most comfortable of all to wear throughout the entire day
Stylish Tops
You can easily get away with chill on the bottom, chic on the top. However I know how hard it is to wear something nice and “professional” with back to back zoom calls. So these chic tops can serve as both comfy and professional
Pants
The most important piece of the equation of course, but also the most flexible! Since no one is seeing you on zoom calls, feel free to wear whatever you want as far as pants go! However I do know that sometimes when I’ve put on a nice top and then sweatpants… I still feel bummy. So these few pieces kept me feeling chic no matter the top.
Sweaters
A comfortable choice in any occasion, but good news is since your camera is most likely only mid waist up (or even chest up) it’s easy to keep it simple and cozy up in a nice sweater for the work day.
Two-piece sets
The easiest way to feel comfortable as well as put together is throwing on a cute matching set. And thankfully for us, the popularity of these sets have exploded, so you can easily get one for every day of the week.
