The first few weeks with a newborn are a mix of pure bliss and fear of the unknown. There are many firsts and, if you’re like me, many things you didn’t see coming. As a newly nursing mom, I quickly learned that breastfeeding-friendly pieces are a must.

Pieces that are breathable, comfy, and with easy access are essential when nursing. Although there are tops designed for breastfeeding, I couldn’t find any that matched my personal style. Through some experimenting, I’ve found certain styles that work the best. Below, I’ve included some wardrobe staples that will help you keep an on-trend look while also being able to feed your baby easily and comfortably.
